The Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation (HFG) examines enduring and urgent problems of violence, such as war, crime, and human aggression. Through basic and applied research, the foundation aims to understand the causes, manifestation, and control of violence.
Applicants for the fellowship may be citizens of any country. They must be age 40 or younger, currently enrolled in an accredited PhD program at an African higher-education institution, and living on the continent.
