York University's Department of Politics is offering a 1-year fellowship (renewable) to study the dynamics of critical mineral extraction in Southern Africa, focusing on countries like the DRC, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. This is part of the SSHRC-funded project African Extractivism and the Green Transition (2023–2029).
💡 Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on extractive industries and critical minerals
Publish in peer-reviewed journals and contribute policy briefings
