OpportunityInternational Arts Competition (African Migration)The Centre for Migration Studies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, is excited to announce open submissions for its annual International Art Competition, co-organized by three of its research groups: Mobilities, Narratives, and Circulation: Africa and Its Diasporas. This year’s theme, African Diasporas, Migrations, and Mobilities, invites artists to explore the rich histories, cultures, and experiences shaped by the movement of African peoples across the globe—whether through forced or voluntary migration, and across both past and contemporary periods. The competition is open to all, regardless of geographic location, citizenship status, or other identifiers.
